Don't Understand

 

 

 

People fail to understand that I'm a very unique person
I don't run behind people, I learn long ago to not do that
If you have lost your attention on me that is fine. But
don't expect me to follow behind.

I have stopped long time ago trying to find someone to
be my friend. If you don't want to deal with me
then don't deal with me it is just that simply.

Tired of always being the back up friend, the one
you call on when no ones else is around the last min
thought.. Guess what.. Let me be

 

I will continue to remain in the shadows.. Hide from everyone
since I don't matter as it is already.

Sit back and look of the years that has gone by
the friendships that you had a child. Some remain
and some fade.

 

you always thought friendships were meant to last..
but as time marches on and days become months
months become years...

 

a call maybe, a letter no.

you see the friends you thought you had
you never really had them
the time you spend over the years growing up
was just enough  until life kicked in

 

you still a friend from then, then you
still have a childhood friend. That is
a true friend

 

But then you have such ones
who are called the passer byers
the ones you really never had
friends

 

but they knew how to blend in
it is a lonely road to walk
as a passer byer

 

Most don't even see you
some may even make fun of you
but most of all you remain
friendless

 

you may know one or two
and there in plane sight
you just never took the time
to really get to know one

 

Cause that one passer by
Could have became your
one true friend....
